A Lovey for my Lovey...

One thing I received a ton of at my Baby Shower was blankets! Emma has more blankets than she will ever use.  The thing about these blankets is that they are all so big - I wanted her to have something that she could carry around - kind of like Linus.

So (after seeing a beautiful and soft full sized blanket that she made) I asked my wonderful Etsy friend and Sneaker Just for the Shell of It if she could make a "Lovey" for my Emma.

I am so glad I did.....

First Birthday Party - LadyBug extravaganza!!!

My little one recently celebrated her first birthday! I figure soon she'll be picking the theme to her parties (princesses, dora, etc) so I took this opportunity to pick a theme that I could run with. You know I love to plan parties!!

After designing a lady bug invitation for a friends baby shower and she did not pick it as the final design. I knew I had to create the lady bug invitation for Emma's birthday and the Ladybug theme was born!!

I had it in my head that I would create most of the paper decorations myself and try to get most of the other party items from Etsy.  I then got crazy busy and ended up relying on wonderful Etsy artists for most everything!

Decorations

The top banner "Happy Birthday" Banner was made by: Expressions by Devin

I made the photo banner of Emma with one photo from each month of the year and used

scalloped circles with ladybugs and the month that were created by: Ciao Bambino

Emma's highchair was decorated with a personalized banner also by: Expressions by Devin

Expressions by Devin also made the flowers that I used for the centerpieces. 

I got the little tin pails at Michaels and adorned them with ribbon and a custom sticker from

These stickers were great and I used them on the party favors and cups as well.

I had a lady bug basket made by Baskets by Elaina and placed the utensils in it.

The party was a wonderful success and I can't thank the other artists involved enough!!!!

Pink and Black Wedding Programs

Congratulations to Brianna and George who were married at the end of May!
(I know, I am just now catching up with everything I have done!)

Brianna's wedding colors were Pink and Black and she asked me to make wedding programs for her.

I love it when my customer's send me photos of their custom item at the actual event it was created for.

Sunflower Wedding

Congratulations to Sonia and Joe who were married this past weekend!!


Sonia was the winner of the Save the Dates I donated to the Pink Comb Salon's Cure for Combs event last fall. You can read more about the event here! 


Sonia did not need Save the Date Cards so I designed Wedding invitations with a sunflower motif for her:

After designing the invitations Sonia asked if I would do her favors and matching Thank You notes.

Favors were sunflower candles with a vanilla scent. They were packed with chocolate brown crinkle paper inside a white box. The box was adorned with a chocolate brown satin ribbon, a silk sunflower and the couples name and wedding date.
